The assurance that data has not been altered or corrupted, maintained on blockchains through cryptographic hashing and consensus verification.
Applied: a single altered transaction would change a block’s hash entirely, immediately breaking the chain link to every subsequent block — this is how blockchains make tampering self-evident.
